Hope & You

Calling all Partners

Luke 5:4-7
“…so they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.”

God is moving and it will be even more exciting to see what He continues to do as we come together and ‘make the main thing the main thing.’ We have received some financial support from the Baptist Union, Church of Scotland, Glasgow-Prayer for the City and ACTS which has helped us greatly in launching this initiative. However, to keep the momentum going we are hoping that churches will partner with us in one of two ways:
1) as a Partner Church by giving a one-time £100 donation
2) as a Sponsoring Church by giving a one-time £1000 donation.
For those of you who have already done so, we greatly appreciate your financial partnership. All donations are used for publication of Scottish materials, maintaining our website, resourcing churches and the part-time salary of our Scottish Coordinator.

Exploring your faith

If you’re new to Christianity, or would like to revisit an old faith, you’ll find a welcome at your local church.

We suggest that you visit one of the hundreds of churches around Scotland which run Alpha or Christianity Explored. You’ll find lists on their websites:

Alpha logoAlpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions, with a day or weekend away. It is low-key, friendly and fun – and is supported by all the main Christian denominations.

Christianity Explored logoChristianity Explored is an informal course for people who’d like to investigate Christianity, or just brush up on the basics. It explores who Jesus was, what his aims were, and what it means to follow him. You’re not asked to pray, sing, or read aloud, and you can ask any question you like. Or, if you prefer, you can come along and simply listen.
